Classic Fountain Pen from M&G

The Classic fountain pen is a modern variation of an ancient writing instrument.  Modern fountain pens are a development of the older quill type ink pen.  Until the invention of the ballpoint pen, an ink pen along with a graphite pencil were the main writing instruments used.  A modern ball or gel ink pen gives utility but the fountain pen offers you as the writer a more classical approach to handwriting.

The M&G Classic fountain pen is a stylish writing instrument.  Based on a plunger type refill mechanism.  We recommend using bottled ink because this fills the pen ink chamber and prevents any airlocks in the flow tube which can occur with cartridges.  The pen will, however, also take standard mini cartridges.  The Classic pen has a subtle ribbed grip, providing a firm hold and has a fine nib.  This nib is great for freehand writing but also suitable for legal documents and completing information boxes on forms.  If your preference is for a fine line then this pen is just perfect.  The nib is precise and smooth to write with.

M&G Fountain pens have a very tight fitting push on, pull off, cap which prevents drying out.
